To Pay Tribute to Healthcare Professionals, Covestro Taiwan Donates Ten Thousand of Protective Goggles

As coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak has become more serious, Covestro announced today that it would donate ten thousand of protective goggles with an indirect ventilation system and anti-fog lens to the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control (CDC) who will help to distribute to the medical institutions in need across Taiwan.

“We’re hoping to bring more professional protection to the medical personnel at the front line with this donation,” said Michael Lee, Managing Director of Covestro Taiwan.  “We sincerely appreciate all the healthcare workers for devoting themselves to Taiwan.” The Protective Goggles that Covestro Taiwan has ordered are made by MEGASAFE Products, Inc. and the goods will be delivered to CDC in March.

Following the government’s precautions for epidemic diseases policy, Covestro Taiwan helped strengthen staff's awareness of autonomous health management and also hope that this virus outbreak comes to an end as soon as possible.

So far, the total number of Protective Goggles donated by Covestro in Greater China region has reached 160,000/pcs.
